The first and foremost step towards beautiful skin is working out what your skin type is. This is necessary, so that you can move forward how to care for your skin, and what products should be used. Below are the 5 different features of skin types, which you can compare to your own skin type. Once you have decided what type your skin is, you can find out what the best way is to look after your skin.
1. Dry skin
2. Oily skin
3. Normal skin
4. Combinational skin
5. Sensitive skin
Care for Dry skin:
* For dry skin, use a creamy cleanser to melt away dirt. Leave it on your skin before sweeping it away with cotton wool. Splash cold water onto your face to clean and refresh your skin. Use a thick cream moisturizer to seal in as much moisture as possible and have a refreshing feel.
Care for Oily skin:
* To care for oily skin you should start with a gentle, foaming facial wash. This will remove dirt and oil without stripping away moisture. Soak cotton wool in a gentle astringent lotion and sweep it over your skin to refresh and cool it.
* Even oily skin needs a moisturizer, but choose a light, watery fluid; this will be enough for your skin. Allow the moisturizer to sink in well and then absorb the excess with a tissue to prevent shine.
Care for Normal Skin:
* To care for normal skin you should start with a gentle foaming facial wash. Massaging it into your face will give you a rosy complexion. Cool your skin with a refreshing toner, and massage it with your fingers in light upward strokes.
Care for Combinational skin:
* If you have combinational skin use a foaming facial wash in the mornings to cleanse your skin. This will keep the oily areas clean to prevent blackheads. In the evening use a cream cleanser to soothe your dry areas. This will keep a balance between excess dryness and excess oiliness. Use a strong astringent for your oily areas and a mild skin freshener for the dry areas. This is not an expensive option, as you will need a little of each. Use moisturizer on your whole face, but make sure you concentrate on your drier areas.
Care for Sensitive Skin:
* If you have sensitive skin, do not use facial washes or soap; instead use a light, hypoallergenic cleansing lotion. Use a moisturizer to strengthen your skin and provide a barrier against irritants. Make sure you use an non perfumed moisturizer, which will not irritate your skin.
Acne is the worst trouble of oily skin. Oily skin provides easy grounds for the multiplication of bacteria on skin. The oils contribute in getting more dirt and dust stick to the skin giving rise to serious skin infections.
The rule is to keep the skin clean. Good quality face wipes, made especially for oily skin must always be there in your handbag. At home, take a cotton ball and add sufficient drops of rose water on it to clean the face and neck regions. One must never rub the skin while cleaning. This tends to tear the sensitive epithelial layer.
Those with oily skin must apply a natural face mask every week. Sun dried orange peels and lemon peels do wonders for oily skin. Grind them to make a powder. Add enough milk or rose water (as per preference) to make a smooth paste. Apply all over your face and neck and wash off after 30 minutes.
Multani mitti or fuller’s earth is an excellent absorbent. If you have very oily skin you can use fuller’s earth as a face wash everyday. It is the simplest and most effective way of getting rid of excess oil. In form of face packs, add some rose water and apply to your skin. You may even add sandal wood powder for added advantages.
Crush cucumber to obtain pulp. Apply it directly to your skin and let it work for 20 minutes. Applying curd to the skin wipes away excess oil.
Using a cotton ball, apply water melon juice on your skin and see the results for yourself.
Oily skin does not require strong moisturizers. Although they do need moisturizing. There are several oil-free moisturizers in market but make sure you are using the one of best quality.

There are many ways to quit smoking but regardless of your reasons you will need to either quit by tapering off or quiting cold turkey.
There is of course a good strategy for both of these methods of quiting smoking. And I would like to flesh out these two methods to quit smoking and then I will let you decide which is best with my bit of ideas.
So If you want to try tapering off to quit smoking here is how to do it. First take a day and answer a few questions. When do you smoke? How many cigarrettes do you smoke in the morning? In the afternoon? In the evening? When do you have a real urge to smoke? Now that you have this list you need a plan. You want to start your first day with a victory so you will plan the first day cutting down by not feeling guilty about smoking but instead smoking when you really need it. Make a goal of how many smokes you will have that first day and then you can go to bed on that first night knowing that you did well..
